One Artist a Day Project

I am a former art teacher who now does volunteer art on a cart to entire elementary schools. Several art programs have been cut and are being left to teachers to implement into their daily teaching. To my knowledge nothing exists that allows teachers who are not familiar with art short assignments that can be completed in a day as well as learning about an artist in history. I hope to create a art curriculum exploring one artist each day and doing one project based on the artist. Therefore, bios are brief and projects are simple. In the end I hope to have enough for a typical public school year. I would love suggestions and modifications to projects.
